    Abstract: Cellular therapy infusion devices for the delivery of media including cellular therapies to a patient's tissue, cells, and/or blood include a barrel, a plunger that fits within the barrel, a syringe shaft, and a pressure relief system configured to achieve and/or maintain a desired level of pressure and/or force within the device so that cellular behavior and/or viability is not adversely impacted by the mechanical forces exerted thereon via depressing the plunger into the barrel so the cellular therapy media may be pushed from the barrel into a patient delivery device for administration to the patient. The single-handed device may comprise a sheath comprising a distal end for insertion into a portion of a user's body, a shaft at least partially within the sheath, having a collection head for collecting the biological sample positioned at the distal end thereof, and an actuator coupled to the shaft to transition the distal end between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The collection head is covered by the distal end in the closed configuration and is exposed when the distal end is in the open configuration.

    Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a coaxial stream delivery device having an inlet section and outlet section in fluid communication via a plenum chamber. In an illustrative example, an inner radius of the plenum chamber may monotonically decrease distally along a longitudinal axis. The inlet section may include an inner tubular wall extending along the longitudinal axis. At least one bridge may extend radially inward from the inner tubular wall to coaxially align an inner conduit therewithin relative to the longitudinal axis. The at least one bridge may define a corresponding number of annular sector apertures bounded by the inner tubular wall and an outer wall of the inner conduit. Various embodiments may advantageously be disposed in a fluid path to coaxially align a therapeutic fluid stream entering the inner conduit within a sheath fluid stream entering the annular sector apertures.

    Abstract: A device for self-collection of a cervical sample includes an enclosure, a sample-collecting head, and a slider and a knob on the enclosure. The enclosure can be gripped by a user in one hand and inserted into the user's vaginal canal. The enclosure has an opening at one end, and a sample-collecting head can be advanced and retracted through the opening. The slider is on a side of the enclosure and is coupled to advance and retract the sample-collecting head, typically using a thumb. The knob is rotated by the user to rotate the sample-collecting head while the enclosure remains in the user's vaginal canal.
