Abstract: The present invention provides several preferred embodiments and variations of head coverings that may be worn by both males and females, men, women, boys and girls, that come to provide alternatives to the heretofore traditional head covering worn by the general public as well as by the observance communities of the world, as well as those who prefer to cover their head as a result of sensitivity to scalp or hair due to therapeutic treatments (chemo or otherwise) sun and/or wind damage causing cosmetic concerns and or hair loss. Multiple use head coverings that also contemplate being part of or attached to other main body garments or parts there of, such as collars, blouses, jackets and the like.

Abstract: The present invention provides garments in which the torso front panel and the torso back panel are stitched together along at least a portion of each side of the garment, and along a remaining portion of each side the torso front panel and the torso back panel are left unstitched together. The unstitched together portion of each of the torso front panel and the torso back panel overlap along the side of the garment so as to enclose the torso of the wearer. Each intersection of the bottom edge and the corresponding overlapping side edge of each of the torso front panel and the torso back panel defines a corner that may be configured to be either angular or rounded. In a first preferred embodiment of the present invention, the portion stitched together along each side of the garment includes at least a portion of the circumference of each arm hole, and the unstitched together portion extends below each the arm hole.

Abstract: A garment is formed with a body encircling portion which encircles and encloses the body, either temporarily or permanently, for about one-third or less the length of the garment, with two-thirds or more of the garment being open, and yet the garment gives the appearance of being fully closed along the sides or located areas of open section. The garment is formed with at least four distinct corners which may contain fringes. A novel bag or encasement for laundering the fringes is also provided. This garment is particularly designed and suited as a Jewish religious garment known as a "4-cornered garment" with "tzitzioth", wherein the observant requirements of the garment are provided for and yet the garment has the appearance and usefulness of unique and contemporary garment.
