    Abstract: A garment for incontinent children or adults is provided. The garment comprises a detection unit that has a moisture sensor for sensing excreta or bodily fluids, a response means or producing a response signal in response to excreta being sensed by the sensor means; and a transmitter means for transmitting a trigger signal in response to the response signal. The garment also comprises a receiver unit having a receiver for receiving said trigger signal and alert means for generating an alert signal in response to receipt of said trigger signal.
