Abstract: Provisioning data is shared with a new device being added to a home environment network. An existing home environment device may receive a request from the new device and transmit provisioning information for user services to the new device. Coordination between the new device and plurality of home environment devices provide for notifications of the provisioning request at several home environment devices. The notifications are removed from other home environment devices when a user responds to one of the notifications at a particular home environment device.

Abstract: There is disclosed a system and method for provisioning a mobile communication device on a network. In an embodiment, the method comprises: identifying one or more devices on the network to which a notification of an offer of service, should be sent; pushing the notification of an offer of service to the identified devices over the network; if the offer of service is accepted at the device, then initiating a provisioning request from the device to one or more of a carrier, service provider or management authority; and upon authorization of the provisioning request by the management authority, provisioning the service from the service provider.

Abstract: Provided are methods and apparatus for managing software components on a device when transferring device management responsibilities for the device from a first device management server to a second device management server. The capability to change device management servers while coordinating changes to software components on a managed device may be referred to as application portability. A mobile device in the present disclosure may change device management providers while maintaining access to certain licensed applications managed by a device management server. In an embodiment, a proprietary software component may be removed and a replacement software component installed from a category of applications that comprises the removed proprietary software component and the installed replacement software component.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for distributing a multimedia data from a server are provided. Tag filter data is stored at the server. The multimedia data and at least one tag are received at the server from a computing device. The multimedia data is filtered by comparing the at least one tag with the tag filter data. The multimedia data is transmitted from the server to at least one multimedia renderer associated with at least one of the tag and the computing device.
