  • Publication number: 20050289008
Abstract: A method of tracking the delivery of an article in which an addressee of the article identifies his/her/itself and signs a touch-sensitive display screen of a portable terminal held in the hand of a delivery person, the terminal also including a radio interface for transmitting this identity data and signature to a remote management computer center, the portable terminal also has an image sensor which is used to take an image of an article delivery receipt as previously filled in by the addressee, and the image is transmitted together with the identity and signature data to the management computer center in order to enable them to be consulted remotely via a telecommunications network.

  • Publication number: 20050289060
Abstract: In a secure method of consulting article delivery receipts from a remote computer terminal connected to a management computer center via a telecommunications network, a digital image of each receipt is initially input to a portable terminal that includes a radio interface for transmitting said image to the management computer center. In order to consult the digital image in secure manner from the remote computer terminal, provision is made in said remote computer terminal to use a unique key kSESSION that is different on each consultation in order to decrypt first data E1 generated in the portable terminal from the digital image, said unique key kSESSION itself being the result of the management computer center using one of its own private keys kPRIVNLS to decrypt second data E2 generated in the portable terminal from the unique key kSESSION.

  • Publication number: 20050168325
Abstract: An RFID read/interrogate device including: memory means for storing data about the state of preservation of a substance; transmit/receive means connected to the memory means via processor means for reading the data from an RFID tag delivering the data about the state of preservation of a substance, including at least temperature data; power supply means; clock means for periodically delivering a clock signal to the processor means, the processor means periodically interrogating the RFID tag and storing the state data in the memory means at the rate of the clock signal delivered by the clock means so as to enable the state of preservation of a substance equipped with the RFID tag to be determined in real time; and display means for viewing information about the substance and the state of preservation of the substance. A container provided with such a device.
