Patent number: 11905950Abstract: An improved screw pump such as, for example, a twin screw pump, includes a casing including an internal chamber, and first and second rotors rotatably positioned within the chamber of the casing. The first and second rotors have an intermeshing threaded-shape profiling. A plurality of bearing seal assemblies are provided at each end of the first and second rotors. Each bearing seal assembly includes a bearing positioned about an end portion of a rotor to facilitate rotation of the rotor, and a seal positioned about an end portion of a rotor to seal passage of the rotor through the casing. The bearing is coupled to the seal so that the seal may be secured to the casing via the coupling of the bearing to the casing.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2020Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: CIRCOR PUMPS NORTH AMERICA, LLC.Inventors: Victor Hall, Dennis Fowler, Vasanth Krishnasamy, Simon Bradshaw, Axel Jaeschke

Publication number: 20230013936Abstract: An improved screw pump such as, for example, a twin screw pump is disclosed. In one embodiment, the screw pump includes a casing, first and second intermeshing rotors, and a liner positioned between the first and second rotors and the casing. In use, the liner is arranged and configured to bend and/or pivot in unison with the first and second rotors under the axial hydraulic pressure experienced by the screw pump during use. In one embodiment, the liner may be arranged and configured to include an asymmetric axial stiffness to facilitate bending of the liner. In another embodiment, the liner may be arranged and configured in multiple segments, the segments being arranged and configured to pivot to approximate the bending of the rotor shafts.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2019Publication date: January 19, 2023Applicant: CIRCOR PUMPS NORTH AMERICA, LLC.Inventors: Axel Jaeschke, Victor Hall

Patent number: 9103342Abstract: The invention relates to an underwater delivery unit with a pump and a drive device that is sealed against the surrounding water and a process medium. According to the invention, the pump (31) and the drive device (32) are combined into a module with a module housing (3) and are arranged in a pressure housing (2), wherein the pressure housing (2) is filled with the process medium and surrounds the module housing (3).Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2009Date of Patent: August 11, 2015Assignee: Joh. Heinr. Bornemann GmbHInventors: Axel Jaeschke, Joerg Lewerenz

Patent number: 9068457Abstract: The invention relates to a double-flow screw spindle machine for drive generation by multiphase mixtures or for the delivery of multiphase mixtures, comprising at least two separate inlet chambers (11, 12) and an outlet chamber (20), and a separator (30), situated upstream of the inlet chambers (11, 12), for separating liquid phase and gas phase. The object of the present invention is to provide a dual-flow screw spindle machine which is easily adaptable to changed process conditions. This object is achieved by virtue of the fact that both inlet chambers (11, 12) are connected to the separator (30) by separate lines (31, 32; 33) for the gas phase and the liquid phase.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2012Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: Joh. Heinr. Bornemann GmbHInventors: Axel Jaeschke, Stefan Ladig
