  • Patent number: 10824294
Abstract: Various methods and systems, for implementing three-dimensional resource integration, are provided. 3D resource integration includes integration of 3D resources into different types of functionality, such as, operating system, file explorer, application and augmented reality functionality. In operation, an indication to perform an operation with a 3D object is received. One or more 3D resource controls, associated with the operation, are accessed. The 3D resource control is a defined set of instructions on how to integrate 3D resources with 3D objects for generating 3D-based graphical interfaces associated with application features and operating system features. An input based on one or more control elements of the one or more 3D resource controls is received. The input includes the one or more control elements that operate to generate a 3D-based graphical interface for the operation. Based on receiving the input, the operation is executed with the 3D object and the 3D-based graphical interface.

  • Patent number: 10586572
Abstract: The subject disclosure is directed towards a technology in which highlight (curated) videos are automatically generated for users to watch based upon estimated interest levels with respect to segments of a longer video or set of videos. In one aspect, statistics are collected with respect to actions of viewers of the video or set of videos. These may include playback-related actions such as the number of times a particular segment is played, and/or behavioral actions of viewers during the playback. Based upon which segments have the highest estimated interest levels, a subset of the segments are selected for a playback list, which when played provides the highlight/curated video.

  • Patent number: 9821224
Abstract: Depth-image analysis is performed with a device that analyzes a human target within an observed scene by capturing depth-images that include depth information from the observed scene. The human target is modeled with a virtual skeleton including a plurality of joints. The virtual skeleton is used as an input for controlling a driving simulation.

  • Patent number: 5007853
Abstract: A casing system for laying electric supply conductors and, if desired, signal conductors along the outer surfaces of walls comprises pre-fabricated, unitary, permanently closed casing sections of a variety of fixed lengths with built-in conductors. Each casing section is provided with a number of built-in access modules permitting the mounting of installation components, such as wall sockets, and the establishment of electrical connection between these and the built-in conductors without interfering with the integrity of the casing sections. The system further comprises sliding cover sections for covering the gaps between adjacent casing sections and between casing sections and corner and end sections also belonging to the system. Standard lengths of casing sections, corner sections, and sections, and sliding cover sections are so selected thay any length of wall can be covered by the system without cutting or otherwise interfering with the casing sections as manufactured.

  • Patent number: 4223972
Abstract: In an electrical terminal clamp for the establishment of an electrically conducting connection between an insulated conductor and a contact member rotatably mounted in a housing, said contact member is constructed with a non-cutting edge which performs a blunt scraping movement along and into the body of the conductor so as to first break through and displace the insulation, and then, upon engaging the exposed conductor, to deform the conductor plastically and without forming a notch.

  • Patent number: 4215909
Abstract: A terminal clamp for insulated electrical wires comprising a housing having a cylindrical bore with an electrically conducting wall. The housing has holes for introducing ends of wires into the bore circumferentially of its wall. A clamping member is rotatably mounted in the bore and has one or more rounded edges for gripping the wire, sliding it at least 60.degree. circumferentially forward in the bore and pressing the conductor of the wire out through the insulation into contact with the conducting wall of the bore. The apex angle of the rounded edges is less than 135.degree., and their radius of curvature is less than the diameter of the conductor.
