  • Patent number: 5492374
Abstract: A separable insertion-type connection is provided for pipes. By way of an end piece having an exterior collar, a pipe can be sealingly inserted into an inserting opening of a connecting body which receives an elastic sealing ring as well as a supporting ring which, in the inserting direction, is arranged in front of the sealing ring and rests against the opening wall. The pipe can then be axially fixed in the inserting opening by a holding part which can be mounted on the connecting body. The insertion-type connection provides long service life of its sealing ring under extreme conditions. For this purpose, the supporting ring is equipped on its face which faces the sealing ring with a sealing lip which sealingly encloses the pipe end piece. As a result, it is achieved that, when acted upon by pressure, the sealing lip, independently of component tolerances, is pressed in a form-locking manner against the circumference of the pipe end piece.

  • Patent number: 5329841
Abstract: A piston-slide valve including a housing in which a piston with at least one oil groove and control edge is guided shiftable or slidable in a bore characterized thereby that the oil groove of the piston is manufactured via wire erosion. Also the control edges of the piston are manufactured by wire erosion. The bore of the sleeve bushing is manufactured by wire erosion. The piston is made out of a needle roller. The piston has a length of approximately 13 mm and a diameter of approximately 2 mm. The wire for eroding of the piston as well as the sleeve bushing has a diameter of approximately 2/10 mm. Longitudinal sides of a multiple edged groove base or bottom of the oil groove of the piston and control edges therewith are formed in a first working step procedure and the remaining longitudinal edges of the oil groove and the remaining control edges are formed in a further working step. The piston occupies one position and another working position displaced by 900.degree. from each other.

  • Patent number: 5322259
Abstract: A proportional magnet valve is provided with which manufacturing tolerances can be equalized and balanced by having an armature with an adjustment member axially adjustable. Consequently it is made possible to adjust every magnet valve that is mass produced so that a predetermined coil current corresponds to a predetermined magnet force and with that corresponding to a predetermined working pressure of a magnet valve. Because of adjustment capability of the armature, no close or narrow manufacturing tolerances must be maintained to permit cost advantageous production of the magnet valve. Also, an exchange of a magnet valve upon wear or damaging thereof is possible in a simple and straight forward manner because the novel magnet valve can be adjusted exactly without difficulty.
