  • Patent number: 8685192
Abstract: A method of and an arrangement for producing a fixing part, for example in the form of a touch-and-close fastener part, includes the formation of a carrier structure (10) provided with stem-like fixing elements (12) connected to one another at least in pairs via intermediate elements (14) to form cramp-like, in particular U-shaped, fixing parts (16). The stem-like fixing elements (12) engage through the carrier structure (10) and project beyond it. Each intermediate element (14) extending between these fixing elements (12) is arranged on the carrier structure (10). The respective fixing part (16) is introduced as a whole into the carrier structure (10) which, for this purpose, is designed in the form of a cramp-like, in particular U-shaped, molding prior to introduction.

  • Patent number: 7842368
Abstract: A method produces a shaped foam body, especially a foam padding unit for a vehicle seat. At least one adhesive closure with adhesive elements is housed in a recess of a foaming mold used for producing the shaped foam body and is covered with a covering element inhibiting foaming. The covering element is placed on the side opposite to the adhesive elements to extend from the recess over a predetermined width, and is maintained by a holding device, while being removably held against the parts of the foaming mold which surround the recess.

  • Patent number: 7600304
Abstract: A method for the production of a fixing piece (12, 36) serves for fixing of covering material to cushion pieces for vehicle seats. A profile body (12) is connected to a separately produced sewn tag (36) which at least partly engages in a housing opening (34) in the profile body (12). The profile body (12) and the sewn tag (36), at least in the common jointing positions thereof, are predominantly made of plastic materials. According to the present invention, the known welding and glued connecting applications can be further improved such that the production method can be rapidly carried out with low production costs and without additional materials. A strong connection can be achieved, conforming to more stringent environmental aspects.

  • Patent number: 7374707
Abstract: A method forms adhesive closing parts from a plastic material. To produce at least one adhesive closing element (3) without a form tool in at least one partial area, the plastic material is deposited in the form of drops. The drops are successively delivered by at least one application device (9). • Patent number: 6749791
Abstract: A surface for an object has base structure (10) which can be synthetically produced, a first type of projections (12) and a second type of projections (16). The projections of each respective type lie adjacent to one another. This structural surface provides a self-cleaning surface which is cost-effective to produce and has excellent dirt-resistant properties. The adjacent projections of the first type (12) are in close contact with one another. The projections of the first and second types (12, 16) are located on a common side, facing away from the object. • Publication number: 20040032051
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the continuous production of piping profiles (10), comprising at least two forming strands (12, 14), each consisting of individual forming components (18) which are allocated in groups and which are held against each other over a predetermined (20) forming distance, while also being provided with a forming material, in such a way that the profile (10) is obtained upon separating the groups of forming components (18). Very high production speeds for producing profile material are possible with the inventive method, allowing a low-cost overall system for the production of fixing systems for automobiles in particular, without the risk of quality defects or similar.

  • Publication number: 20040033336
Abstract: The invention relates to a hook-and-loop fastener that comprises a support part (10) that is provided on at least one of its sides with hook-and-loop elements (12) of a predetermined hook shape and/or orientation. At least the hook-and-loop elements (12) are produced from a shape memory plastic material, and every hook-and-loop element (12), when undergoing different energy conditions, especially different temperatures, assumes a hook shape and/or orientation that differs from the initially predetermined hook shape and/or orientation, thereby providing a hook-and-loop fastener that, once produced, by supplying energy, can be geometrically modified in such a manner that the hook-and-loop fastener has a greater versatility.

  • Patent number: 6572727
Abstract: A method produces adhesive closing parts having adhesive closing elements made of plastic materials. The elements interact with corresponding adhesive closing elements of a second adhesive closing part to form an adhesive closure. The adhesive closing part having the adhesive closing elements is applied, at least in part, with a coating. The thickness of the coating is chosen such that it ensures subsequent formation of an adhesive closure. Adhesive closures with enhanced application possibilities can thus be produced.

  • Publication number: 20030085492
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a fastener part consisting of plastic materials and comprising a strip or film-type support part (20), which is provided with a plurality of hook elements on at least one of its two sides. Each hook element has a head part (32), which is connected to the support part (20) by a stem part (30). To obtain different geometric forms for the head parts (32), which are wider in relation to the stem parts (30), a thermoplastic molding process is used, which acts on the free ends of the stem parts (30). As the thermoplastic molding process is carried out using ultrasound and the head parts are molded by means of a molding tool that comes into contact with the free end of the stem parts (30), hook elements with variable head shapes or geometric forms can be produced in a material-saving manner without using the usual calendar rolling methods.

  • Patent number: 6299954
Abstract: An adhesive body, for the production of a junction with a foam material molded body during the molding process involving foam materials, has individual adhesive elements arranged on a support strip and covered to avoid the penetration of foam material with a covering. The covering is an adhesive material, adhering to the front side of the adhesive elements and can be removed therefrom to expose the adhesive elements. The adhesive body can be used at lower cost, can be in tight junction with the foam material molded body, and can guarantee with greater certainty that no foam material gets onto the adhesive elements during the foaming.
