  • Publication number: 20230026058
Abstract: A longitudinal adjusting device for a vehicle seat with a floor rail for fastening to a vehicle floor, the floor rail having a base wall for resting on the vehicle floor, with a seat rail that is displaceable with respect to the floor rail, with a spindle that is rigidly coupled to the floor rail, with a gear, which has a spindle nut, which is in engagement with the spindle, and is axially rigidly coupled to the seat rail, and with fastening means, which are guided through fastening openings on a fastening wall of the seat rail for fastening the gear on the seat rail. The longitudinal adjusting device may have a fastening wall arranged at an angle to the base wall and the fastening means for enclosing the gear reach through the complete seat rail and also absorb the crash forces with dual shear.

  • Patent number: 11358498
Abstract: A vehicle seat longitudinal adjustment device has a floor rail, a seat rail, and a locking unit substantially accommodated in a cavity formed by the rails, and a housing. A bearing shaft is disposed in this housing and extends in the displacement direction. The device includes at least two flat blocking parts, pivotable independently of each other about the bearing shaft and elastically biased, independently of each other, by one blocking spring each, and a releasing part. The structurally identical blocking parts each have two arms, between which the bearing shaft is located. The seat rail has, for each blocking part, shear slots accommodating the first and second arms. The floor rail has a perforated strip cooperating with the first arms, with first blocking slots, and a perforated strip cooperating with the second arms, with second blocking slots. The slots are periodically disposed one behind the other in the displacement direction.

  • Patent number: 9545861
Abstract: A method for producing a locking device of a longitudinal adjustment mechanism of a vehicle seat, includes producing a locking device having a plurality of round locking pins which can be latched into position independently of one another and can be unlatched together, at least one guide part and a notched strip, wherein the guide part is assigned to a seat rail and has guide bores for the locking pins. The notched strip is assigned to a floor rail. The locking pins have an upper actuating end and a lower engagement region interacting with the notched strip. The locking pins are lubricated during the production step or subsequently thereto. During and/or after the lubrication step, each individual locking pin is rotationally driven by a rotary drive unit.

  • Patent number: 9242579
Abstract: A seat rail for a motor vehicle seat includes a lower rail, which can be connected to a motor vehicle, and a spindle, which is arranged on the lower rail in a rotationally fixed manner by a spindle retainer. The spindle retainer is fastened to the lower rail by a fastening element extending through a fastening opening on the spindle retainer and a fastening opening on the lower rail. In order to provide a seat rail having a lower rail on which rotation of the spindle retainer is largely precluded, in particular in the event of a threaded floor connection extending through the spindle retainer, the fastening openings and/or the fastening element has a cross-section deviating from a circular shape, preferably a polygonal cross-section, in a connection section arranged in the region of the fastening openings.

  • Patent number: 9050908
Abstract: A longitudinal rail guide of a motor vehicle seat having a bottom rail, with a top rail which is movable in longitudinal direction relative to the bottom rail and with a locking device. The locking device has a guide part which is disposed on the top rail and has at least one guide opening, and for each guide opening there is a blocking part which is disposed so as to be movable in the guide opening. The guide part has a free edge which lies directly opposite an adjacent inner surface of the bottom rail, and before an accident the free edge is located at a small distance from the adjacent inner surface of the bottom rail and after an accident the free edge bears against the adjacent inner surface.
