Abstract: A fluid power rotary drive having two head pieces, between which a hose body and a force transmitting structure extend. The head pieces bear against each other via supporting means permitting relative rotatability thereof in Abstract of the Disclosure such a manner that they are prevented from performing an axial relative movement involving mutual motion toward or away from the one another. When the interior space of the hose body is put under pressure a relative rotary movement between the two head pieces is caused.

Abstract: It is a question of an actuating means adapted to be activated by fluid power, which comprises a hose body (5) extending between two spaced head pieces (3 and 4) and whose interior space is able to be subjected to a fluid medium. A strand structure (6) fixed to both head pieces (3 and 4) and extending coaxially in relation to the hose body has two strand groups (18 and 19) in a crossover configuration with bendingly flexible strands (7) extending adjacent to one another with the same longitudinal alignment within a strand group. An intermediately placed yielding material (22) between the strand groups (18 and 19) serves to maintain the strand groups constantly at a distance apart.

Abstract: A roof for a built structure is proposed, which is designed in the form of a hollow body structure. It possesses interconnected walls (18 and 19) of flexible and at least substantially air-impermeable material. These walls (18 and 19) constitute elongated chambers (22), which are arranged side by side in sequence and are alternatingly designed as vacuum chambers (24) and gage pressure chambers (23). It is in this manner that an extremely strong, free span roof is created.

Abstract: A support structure for architectural systems is suggested which comprises a plurality of supports (2) standing on a base and serving to bear a load. The supports (2) are constituted by air-tight hollow bodies (6) which possesses a wall of flexible material and are charged with compressed air in order to have a rigid form.
