    Abstract: An automated measurement system and method for acquiring human hand measurements for the automated construction of artificial hands may be provided. In some embodiments, the method for acquiring human hand measurements for the automated construction of artificial hands includes receiving, from one or more measurement devices, one or more scans of a hand of a subject. The method may also include identifying a plurality of landmark positions on the hand by performing an imaging analysis of the one or more scans, and determining a plurality of measurements related to one or more of a plurality of fingers of the hand based on one or more of the identified landmark positions. The method may generate a point cloud of the plurality of determined measurements.
