    Abstract: In an aspect, a system for determining a liquid level in a drug delivery device is presented. The system includes a first spring and a second spring positioned adjacent the first spring. The system includes a rod configured to compress at least the first spring and contact the second spring. The system includes a sensing element in communication with the first spring and the second spring. The sensing element is configured to detect a difference in voltage of at least the first spring. A difference in voltage of at least the first spring corresponds to an amount of liquid drug of the drug delivery device.

    Abstract: The exemplary embodiments may provide and approach to shutting off the alarm of a medicament delivery device without harming the internal printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) of the medicament delivery device. As a result, the PCBA of the medicament delivery device may not be damaged and can be harvested for reuse. Some exemplary embodiments may provide a displaceable component that may be displaced to open an electrical circuit that powers an alarm of the medicament delivery device. In other exemplary embodiments, a user may break the electrically conductive element, such as by applying sufficient force with a tool. In still other exemplary embodiments, the alarm may be shut off by mechanical manipulation of the medicament delivery device.
