  • Patent number: 11798026
Abstract: The disclosure is related to a method and system for evaluating advertising effects of video content. The evaluation method includes presenting video content including a character to a viewer through a display, extracting pieces of facial micro-movement data (MMD) of the character in the video content and the viewer, while the viewer watches the video content, calculating a similarity of the MMD of the character and the MMD of the viewer, and calculating an advertising effect score of the video content on the basis of the similarity.

  • Publication number: 20220245389
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and system for emotional evaluation based on heart-face movement synchronization. The evaluation method extracts a subject's facial image and heart information, extracts micro-movement data of an action unit (AU) defined in a face region from the facial image, extracts heart-evoked micro-movement (HEMM) data from micro-movement data in synchronization with a heartbeat characteristic signal obtained from heart information, extracts one or more characteristic parameters for the AU movement from the HEMM, evaluates the emotion of the subject using the characteristic parameter.

  • Patent number: 8379910
Abstract: An image signature creating method includes: creating a map by partitioning a still image using rings defined by concentric circles radially spaced apart from each other by a predetermined interval and radial lines circumferentially spaced apart from each other by a predetermined angle, the center of the still image being that of the concentric circles; and creating an image signature from the created map on the basis of distribution of pixels in regions defined by the rings and the radial lines. Accordingly, distribution of illegal contents is prevented and interrupted by search for and discrimination of a still image illegally deformed by a copying of or an intended attack on the still image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 18, 2008
Date of Patent: February 19, 2013
Assignee: Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute
Inventors: Weon Geun Oh, A Young Cho, Ik Hwan Cho, Ju Kyoung Jin, Won Keun Yang, Jun Woo Lee, Dong Seok Jeong
