  • Patent number: 9303708
Abstract: It provides that a vibration-damping material in form of sheet which can be adhered to even at locations such as underfloor or engine room of a vehicle where both vibration-damping performance and chipping-resistant performance are required by self-adhesive bonding or heat melt adhesive bonding through an adhesive layer composed of a adhesive or a hotmelt adhesive. A vibration-damping material in form of sheet with chipping-resistant performance having both of vibration-damping performance and chipping-resistant performance includes a thermosetting vibration-damping sheet and an adhesive layer, the thermosetting vibration-damping sheet includes one or more than synthetic rubber selected from the group consisting of a styrene-butadiene rubber, a butadiene rubber and a high-styrene rubber; a polybutadienic elastomer; a curing agent; a petroleum resin and an inorganic filler.

  • Publication number: 20100190916
Abstract: [Constitution] A coatings composition having vibration-damping of two-components type and coating type which can be cured at the normal temperature comprising: a combination of not less than two kinds of an epoxy resins which can be provided with a curing compounds having each different glass transition temperature and a curing agent for an epoxy resin, and a filler. [Effect] The coatings composition having vibration-damping of two-components type and coating type which can be cured at normal temperature can be provided. Specially, said coatings composition which a drying oven for baking such as conventional example is not necessary because its composition can be cured at the normal temperature in a short time can be provided.

  • Patent number: 6559193
Abstract: Disclosed is an acrylic sol for a sound insulating underbody coating. It includes acrylic polymer fine particles, a plasticizer, a filler, a plasticizer, a blocking type urethane resin, a curing agent and a foaming agent. Since it includes the acrylic polymer particles as a major constituent unit, it does not generate a hydrogen chloride gas and dioxins when it is burned. Moreover, since the paint film resulting from the acrylic sol has a net-shaped structure by the cross-linkage reactions of the urethane resin, and since the bulkiness of the paint film is increased by the foaming agent, it has a good cold resistance and adhesion property toward automotive steel plates, and effects a superb chipping resistance and sound insulating performance.
