  • Patent number: 8366545
Abstract: Provided is a screen operation method for operating a character in a virtually 3-dimensional space displayed on a 2-dimensional screen. The method includes: inputting a movement command for an object by an input device; displaying on a movement amount display unit, a change of an object movement amount in accordance with the movement command; displaying accumulated effect by the object movement on an accumulated effect display unit; and executing the next event process in the virtually 3-dimensional space by an event generation unit when the accumulated effect has reached a predetermined value. Thus, it is possible to provide GUI exhibiting higher reality in an operation of a simulation game and the like and provide a new business of an online game in which a virtual game world is linked with a real service.

  • Publication number: 20120231853
Abstract: In an information terminal such as a mobile phone, a movement function of a display screen is controlled in response to a type of user operation to prevent erroneous selection of selectable items and improve operability. The terminal is provided with a touch panel (300) to which an operation signal is inputted by pressure caused by a touch operation, an operation signal acquisition unit (200f) which detects a coordinate position of the operation signal that is inputted to the touch panel (300), an input range setting unit (200d) which partitions a plurality of input ranges on the touch panel (300), an operation signal analysis unit (200h) which acquires and analyzes a predetermined operation signal, and an operation mode switching unit (200g) which changes positions or areas of the respective input ranges upon the touch panel (300) on the basis of the result of the analysis from the operation signal analysis unit (200h).
