  • Patent number: 7975211
Abstract: A receiver including a switch for switching output of a memory to one of paths according to content of the output. The memory stores information bits, first check bits and second check bits. The first check bits and second check bits are switched to one of the paths via a rate dematch apparatus to a decoder. The information bits are switched directly to the decoder.

  • Publication number: 20090316662
Abstract: A base station (20) and a mobile station (10) preliminarily register a transmission cycle of a CQI associated with every free space, in which channelization codes are not defined in a channelization code set of an HS-SCCH. In the case of setting of the transmission cycle of the CQI, the base station (20) transmits identification information of the free spaces associated with the transmission cycle to be set up to the mobile station (10) by the HS-SCCH. When the identification information of the free space is received by the HS-SCCH, the mobile station (10) transmits the CQI to the base station (20) at the transmission cycle associated with the free space.

  • Publication number: 20090191829
Abstract: A wireless communicating apparatus is provided which includes two receiving methods, and can determine a favorable receiving method. The wireless communicating apparatus executes, which is provided with the two receiving methods of a first receiving method which is used in a propagation path environment in which it is necessary to reduce the multi-path interference, and a second receiving method which is used in the propagation path environment in which it is not necessary to reduce the multi-path interference, a first determination (step S1) for determining whether or not the fluctuation in time for the path is less than a predetermined threshold, and a second determination (step S2) for determining whether or not the number of the paths is less than a predetermined threshold, and determines (step S3, 4) to use which receiving method of the first receiving method or the second receiving method to communicate via wireless according to a first determination result and a second determination result.

  • Patent number: 7376422
Abstract: A mobile communication system, base station device, and mobile wireless terminal are provide which are capable of improving throughput and/or communication quality in the mobile wireless terminal when an HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) method is applied to W-CDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) communication. A base station device transmits an empty pattern of a channelization code set for an HS-SCCH (High Speed Shared Control CHannel), which is used as an advance notice of transmission for a downlink employed in the HSDPA method, to the mobile wireless terminal.

  • Publication number: 20060002416
Abstract: A mobile radio communication terminal device can suppress increase in memory capacity and realize a MAC-hs buffer and an RLC buffer as a single physical memory. A MAC-hs processor separates packet data of MAC-hs PDU units that are received as input into packet data of RLC PDU units and then supply these data together with sequence numbers to a shared memory control device. A shared memory is a single physical memory that functions as the MAC-hs buffer and the RLC buffer. The shared memory control device assigns memory addresses of the shared memory in RLC PDU units in advance, and writes packet data of RLC PDU units that are applied as input from the MAC-hs processor to the corresponding memory addresses of the shared memory.
