  • Publication number: 20250045424
Abstract: A data platform provides central data governance and access control for enterprise data. Information identifying data of interest at a storage system is received from users. An Access Request for the data of interest at the storage system is generated. the Access Request is forward to a Data Access Layer of a Data Governance and access Control Layer. An Approval Request is automatically forwarded by the Data Access Layer to one or more access control entities. The Data Access Layer receives an Approval Response from the one or more access control entities. A policy for accessing the data of interest at the storage system is created. The policy is used to provide access to the data of interest at the storage system. The Data Access Layer is also able to provide cross-platform access to different storage sources.

  • Patent number: 11769006
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for automatically parsing infographics into segments corresponding to structured groups or lists and displaying the identified segments or reflowing the segments into various computing tasks. For example, the disclosed systems may utilize a novel infographic grouping taxonomy and annotation system to group elements within infographics. The disclosed systems can train and apply a machine-learning-detection model to generate infographic segments according to the infographic grouping taxonomy. By generating infographic segments, the disclosed systems can facilitate computing tasks, such as converting infographics into digital presentation graphics (e.g., slide carousels), reflow the infographic into query-and-response models, perform search functions, or other computational tasks.

  • Patent number: 10869091
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for latency detection for streaming video. Example methods may include receiving a request to determine a time to first frame for video content, determining a streaming service and a playback device associated with the request, and determining a time at which playback of the content is initiated. Example methods include capturing a playback sequence of the video content, classifying individual frames of the playback sequence, where each classification is associated with a probability value indicative of a likelihood the frame is a first frame, analyzing classifications of the individual frames, and determining, based at least in part on the analysis of the classifications of the individual frames, the time to first frame for the video content.

  • Patent number: 10846149
Abstract: A context management service provides historical context information describing the state of a computer system at a particular time to an event processing service. When an event is received by the event processing service, the event processing service determines, based at least in part on the event, a point in time for which context information is desired. The event processing service requests the desired context information from the context management service. The context management service produces a context snapshot that describes the state of the computer system at the determined point in time, and provides the context snapshot to the event processing service. The event processing service is able to use the context information to process the event in accordance with the state of the computer system at the determined point in time.

  • Patent number: 10523532
Abstract: Computing resource service providers provide computing resources to a plurality of customers. To avoid customers experiencing a degradation in service associated with the computing resources provided to customers, a main queue and a sideline queue may be used to manage and distribute customer events to service endpoints. Customer events may be placed in a main queue and transmitted, by a delivery host, to a service endpoint. If the delivery host receives a throttle response from the service endpoint, the delivery host may enqueue the customer event in a sideline queue and generate and/or store state information associated with the customer event. The state information may include an interval of time at the expiration of which the customer event may be retransmitted to the service endpoint.

  • Patent number: 9372500
Abstract: Various aspects provide for generating a timeout signal based on a clock counter associated with a data request. An interface component is configured for receiving a data request from a master device and forwarding the data request to a slave device. A timeout component is configured for maintaining a clock counter associated with the data request and generating a timeout signal in response to a determination that a threshold level associated with the clock counter is reached before receiving a data response associated with the data request from the slave device.
