  • Patent number: 11761478
Abstract: A contact layer is formed by a deposition method on an inner surface of a first metal element by a centrifuging process, and preferably includes an inner layer of copper alloy and an outer layer of tin alloy. Such a contact layer is used in an articulation joint including a first metal element having a surface provided with the contact layer, and a second metal element with a second surface. The first and second elements are relatively movable such that first and second surfaces slide against each other.

  • Publication number: 20230231435
Abstract: A rolling assembly having a rolling bearing provided with a first ring and with a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, and with a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the first and second rings. The assembly further includes a bearing mounting and dismounting device having a supporting shaft to which the first ring of the rolling bearing is mounted, and a sleeve slidably mounted on the supporting shaft between a remote position from the rolling bearing and a close position in which the sleeve is in axial contact with the second ring of the rolling bearing.

  • Publication number: 20230039432
Abstract: Disclosed is a bearing assembly for an electric motor for a vehicle, providing at least one main bearing configured to support a rotational element of the electric motor, and a sacrificial bearing. The main bearing includes at least one inner ring, at least one outer ring and at least one plurality of rolling elements. The sacrificial bearing provides an outer ring, an inner ring, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. A value of a breakdown voltage for the sacrificial bearing is less than a value of the breakdown voltage for the at least one main bearing.

  • Publication number: 20230037573
Abstract: A bearing assembly for an electric motor for a vehicle, having at least one main bearing configured to support a rotational element of the electric motor, and a sacrificial bearing. The main bearing includes at least one inner ring having at least one inner raceway, at least one outer ring having at least one out raceway, and at least one plurality of rolling elements disposed between the raceways. The sacrificial bearing provides an outer ring having an outer raceway, an inner ring having an inner raceway, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. The sacrificial bearing is provided with an electrically conductive lubricant configured to lubricate the rolling elements of the sacrificial bearing. The main bearing is provided with an isolating lubricant configured to lubricate the rolling elements of the main bearing, wherein the isolating lubricant is electrically isolating.

  • Publication number: 20220196002
Abstract: A reciprocating piston lubrication pump with a component is proposed having an opening, which has at least one cylinder-shaped part, and with at least one piston, which comprises a radially outer surface built at least partly by a coating. A clearance between the radially outer surface of the piston and the component is between 1 ?m and 20 ?m when the radially outer surface is positioned in the cylinder-shaped part. The surface hardness of the coating at the radially outer surface is 2 to 10 times higher than that of a region of the component, which forms the cylinder-shaped part.
