    Abstract: A gaming machine stores movement patterns of the scroll of the reel unit that has a plurality of paylines and displays a game result by scrolling arranged symbols in a predetermined direction and then rearranging the symbols in a matrix manner. The gaming machine randomly determines the symbols to be rearranged on the reel unit. The gaming machine determines a combination formed by the determined symbols. The gaming machine 1 selects one of the movement patterns of the reel unit based on the determined combination. The gaming machine 1 operates the reel unit with the selected movement pattern.
