  • Publication number: 20190254633
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a method to measure fluid within a body cavity where data is received with an interface (210), the data being received from an ultrasound transducer. A three-dimensional sonographic image is generated with an image generator (220) connected to the interface (210), the three-dimensional sonographic image being generated from the data from the ultrasound transducer. The body cavity is identified in the three-dimensional sonographic image with an image processor (230) connected to the image generator (220); and, an area of fluid in the body cavity in the three-dimensional sonographic image is identified with the image processor (230). The volume of the area of fluid is calculated using the three-dimensional sonographic image and a stacked crescents process, a spherical fill process, a convex hull process, and/or a triangulation process.

  • Publication number: 20190255833
Abstract: In a digital inking system having an anilox member that carries a patterned metered layer of ink to a digital imaging member, and a doctor blade that removes excess ink from the surface of the anilox member resulting in the patterned metered layer, an overfill form roller in rolling contact with the anilox member adds an overcoat layer of ink on the patterned metered layer for transfer of both layers of ink to the digital imaging member. The overcoat layer of ink uniformly covers all regions of the anilox member and the mattered metered layer of ink, including lands of the anilox cell walls to make the combined layers of ink pattern-free.

Abstract: An arrangement for controlling flow includes a flow control element, an actuator, a linkage assembly, and a sensor module. The linkage assembly is coupled between the flow control element and the actuator, and includes a rotatable linkage element coupled to impart force to the flow control element. The sensor module is affixed to the rotatable linkage element. The sensor module includes a MEMs-based strain gauge affixed to a substrate and operably coupled to measure torque on the linkage element, and a processing circuit disposed on the substrate. The processing circuit is operably coupled to receive torque measurement information representative of the measured torque. The processing circuit generates a fluid flow measurement value based on the torque measurement information and position information representative of a position of a flow control device of the flow control element. • Patent number: 10104053
Abstract: The system and method described herein for providing annotated service blueprints in an intelligent workload management system may include a computing environment having a model-driven, service-oriented architecture for creating collaborative threads to manage workloads. In particular, the management threads may converge information for creating annotated service blueprints to provision and manage tessellated services distributed within an information technology infrastructure. For example, in response to a request to provision a service, a service blueprint describing one or more virtual machines may be created. The service blueprint may then be annotated to apply various parameters to the virtual machines, and the annotated service blueprint may then be instantiated to orchestrate the virtual machines with the one or more parameters and deploy the orchestrated virtual machines on information technology resources allocated to host the requested service, thereby provisioning the requested service.

  • Patent number: 9954411
Abstract: An actuating drive contains a housing which has a first housing part and a second housing part. The two housing parts each have an edge, each edge having an end face, and the two end faces face each other when the two housing parts are joined. The first housing part and the second housing part can be detachably joined. The actuating drive is configured to accommodate an exchangeable connection module for a cable feed. The exchangeable connection module can be inserted into an opening of the first edge of the first housing part and the exchangeable connection module can be connected in a form-closed manner to the end faces of the edges in a region of the opening when the two housing parts are joined. Thus, an actuating drive, in particular for ventilation flaps or fire dampers, having high flexibility in the electrical connection contacting is provided.
