    Abstract: An augmented reality-based method for determining locations of lighting devices includes displaying on a display screen, by an augmented reality device, a real-time image of a target physical area. The real-time image includes lighting devices that are installed in the physical area. The method further includes displaying on the display screen, by the augmented reality device, a first marker and a second marker. The first marker is displayed overlaid on a first lighting device of the lighting devices, and the second marker is displayed overlaid on a second lighting device of the lighting devices. The method also includes determining, by the augmented reality device, a location of the first marker and a location of the second marker.
