Abstract: An arrow rest arrangement for an archery bow and a quick change launcher formed from a friction reducing noise arresting polymer composition in selected sizes and shapes to facilitate different types of arrows. The launcher supports the arrow prior to launching and provides initial guidance to the arrow at launch. The arrow rest includes a holder for retaining the arrow in position prior to shooting.

Abstract: The application of a nontoxic and biodegradable musical lubricant and/or cleaning composition to the moving parts of musical instruments used for reducing the friction between the contact surfaces of valve, slide and key elements of musical instruments. The musical instrument lubricant composition is especially useful for application to the parts of the musical instruments which may come into contact with the human body. The nontoxic musical instrument lubricant composition includes a nontoxic oil base such as vegetable oil, preferably corn oil or olive oil, and a nontoxic solvent such as ethanol, preferably ethyl alcohol, and/or a citrus solvent, such as a terpene compound, preferably limonene. The preferred embodiment also includes a terpene, preferably limonene, to provide a nontoxic flavoring and/or scenting agent to provide good wetting and film forming properties and a pleasant naturally occurring organoleptic fragrance and scent.

Abstract: A portable arrow lubricant container-applicator system for use in connection with sport bow shooting where arrows are shot into simulated target figures and where it is necessary to quickly and efficiently remove the arrows from the target figure without damage to the arrow tip or shaft and to minimize damage to the target figure. A lubricant container-applicator is provided for holding an absorbent medium which receives a liquid medium to prevent loss and spillage of the lubricant from the lubricant container-applicator. A septum type lid may be provided to allow insertion and removal of the arrow tip and shaft into the lubricating medium and for providing an arrangement for coating the arrow tip and shaft with the desired amount of lubricant. An insertion limiting device can be provided to adjust the length of the extent of insertion of the arrow into the lubrication medium.
