  • Patent number: 9470405
Abstract: A surgical light including a substrate having a substantially planar top surface with a plurality of light sources on the substantially planar top surface, with each of the light sources emitting light in a cone when activated. The cone has a first spread angle. An optical system having a first area such that the light emitted from the light sources has a second spread angle after passing through the first area and a second area focusing or redirecting the light passing through the first area at a location a desired distance from the optical system. The second spread angle is less than the first spread angle.

  • Patent number: 7831313
Abstract: A lead anchor includes a body defining a first opening and a second opening through which a lead can pass. A protrusion and a corresponding depression may be provided within the body that cooperate to form a non-linear path for the lead through the housing to resist movement of the lead within the lead anchor.

  • Publication number: 20070213795
Abstract: An improved percutaneous lead is provided. The lead has a circumferential, concave neck located on the distal portion of the lead and a stylet lumen traversing through the lead including through the concave neck. The concave neck has a narrower circumference than the remainder of the lead. The concave neck is designed to bend up to 45 degrees with a pre-curved stylet inserted into the stylet lumen. The presence of a concave neck permits the ingrowth of tissue into and around the concave neck, thereby helping to anchor the lead post-implant. The concavity in the neck presents no sharp edges to disrupt the isodiametric lead profile.

  • Publication number: 20060054029
Abstract: A grill for a barbecuing, the grill having an upper grate, wherein a grillable foodstuff may be placed thereon and a lower grate having channels which may catch juices that drips from the foodstuff. The upper grate and lower grate are positionable relative to each other, so as to vary in position between a maximally overlapped (open) grill position and a minimally overlapped (closed) grill position.

  • Publication number: 20050246005
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method, for fabricating an implantable apparatus for delivering electrical stimulation from a pulse generator, comprises: providing a plurality of conductors, wherein at least one of the plurality of conductors passes through at least one interior passage of a body, wherein the body is formed of a first insulative material having prescribed mechanical properties; coupling at least one terminal to each conductor of the plurality of conductors, the terminals being adapted to receive electrical signals from the pulse generator, wherein adjacent terminals are separated by a second insulative material with prescribed mechanical properties that are consistent with the first insulative material; and over-molding a region of the apparatus containing the terminals with a third insulative material with prescribed mechanical properties that are consistent with the material of the body.

  • Publication number: 20050192655
Abstract: An implantable, substantially isodiametric, low resistance implantable lead having at least one electrode positioned in a stimulation/sensing portion of the lead as well as a method of manufacturing the same. At least the stimulation/sensing portion is unitized through partially surrounding and supporting insulation and conductive element(s) of the stimulation/sensing portion with a fused matrix of material having mechanical properties consistent with a body of the lead.
