The invention also relates to a method for transferring images onto substrates using the transfer paper.

The invention also relates to a corresponding method for transferring images onto substrates, and to a siliconised and corona-treated paper.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of transfer printing on substrates that comprises the steps of printing a UV-curing substance onto a polymeric release layer of a transfer material at regions not intended for transfer to the substrate. This release layer has at least one image which is printed from conventional inks, or it is a colored film. The method further comprises at least partial transfer of the image or the colored film or a combination of the aforementioned to the substrate under the action of heat and pressure, and removal of the transfer material from the substrate. The regions of the polymeric release layer coated with the UV-curing substance are detached from the substrate, and the image-bearing regions of the polymeric release layer or the colored film regions, or the combination thereof, remain joined to the substrate.

Abstract: A method of applying an inscription on a copying paper to a heat-resistant surface, such as an exterior surface of a cup, where the paper bears the inscription to be applied to the cup via heat. The heat is provided to the paper exclusively from the rear of an object to be inscribed, where the heat is provided by a halogen lamp. A sufficient temperature is generated at the surface of the object to thereby adhere the inscription to the surface, and then the paper is pulled off.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a transfer paper for transferring colored xerocopy prints to textile substrates and to a process for the production of prints, in particular produced by xerocopy, on textiles, in which a layer of plastic on a carrier paper is first printed on and is transferred to the textile under the action of heat, the print being produced on the carrier paper with a coating comprising a melamine-formaldehyde resin esterified with methanol, a polyurethane and an acrylic acid ester/acrylic acid copolymer.
