The liquid crystal display includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix shape, a switching element connected to each pixel, data lines and gate lines connected to the switching elements, and a data driver generating data voltages and applying the data voltages to the data lines. The data lines are disposed at both sides of the pixels in pairs, and data voltages of the same magnitude with different polarities are applied to the pairs of data lines.
