  • Publication number: 20090232855
Abstract: A percutaneous releasing material and agent having characteristics that include a high stability of an active agent in the formulation, a high topical absorption rate, decreased irritation on the skin, and an increased tactile comfort. The percutaneous releasing material incorporates an external application agent composition that is prepared by using nanometer-sized polymer particles, i.e., particles having a size or diameter between approximately 1 nm and approximately 500 nm, and more preferably having a size between about 30 nm and about 150 nm. Further, the percutaneous releasing material and agent according to the present invention incorporate polymer particles that preferably contain a physiologically active agent that more readily penetrates through the stratum corneum to the upper layer of the dermis, whereby the physiologically active agent is effused into the skin while staying in the upper layer of dermis.

  • Patent number: 7517911
Abstract: The present invention relates to ester compounds derived from 3,4,5-trimethoxy phenyl acetate, 3,4,5-trimethoxy cinnamate or 3,4,5-trimethoxy hydrocinnamate that are represented by Formula (I), wherein R1 is CH2—, —CH?CH— or CH2—CH2, R2 is thymyl or carvacryl, to methods for preparing them, and to a whitening cosmetic composition containing the ester compounds. Because the ester compounds of the present invention inhibit the generation of melanin, the cosmetic composition can improve the skin pigmentation and can be used for whitening cosmetics.

  • Publication number: 20060252834
Abstract: The present invention provides hydroxamic acid derivatives represented by the following formula (I), having anti-aging efficacy and a method for preparation thereof: wherein, R1 is herein, R5 and R6 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C10 alkyl group or a C3-C6 cyclic alkyl group; R2 is CONH, NHCO, CONR7 or NR7CO, herein, R7 represents a C1-C10 alkyl group; R3 is —(CH)n—, herein, n=0 or 1; and R4 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C10 alkyl group. Further, the present invention provides skin-care external compositions for preventing skin aging, containing said hydroxamic acid derivatives represented by the formula (I) as an active ingredient.

  • Patent number: 6916844
Abstract: The present invention provides hydroxy pyranone derivatives and a method for preparing the hydroxy pyranone derivatives. The hydroxy pyranone derivatives of the present invention are significantly effective in promoting the biosynthesis of collagen and in inhibiting the activity of collagenase, i.e. an enzyme for decomposing collagen, to have anti-wrinkle efficacy, and can be incorporated into medicines or external applications for lessening skin-wrinkles.
