  • Publication number: 20080022710
Abstract: A simultaneous heating/cooling multi air conditioner capable of performing heating and cooling simultaneously is provided. The simultaneous heating/cooling multi air conditioner includes a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers. The plurality of outdoor heat exchangers are configured to individually operate as a condenser or an evaporator depending on a heating/cooling ratio. Thus, even if the heating/cooling ratio changes, deterioration of the heating/cooling performance is prevented. When an operation mode is changed, continuous heating/cooling can be performed without stopping the system.

  • Publication number: 20060259200
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hybrid generation system and a control method thereof. The hybrid generation system can maximize operation efficiency of a generator by selectively supplying normal utility power or power, which is generated by the generator, based on a power level supplied to a load. A hybrid generation system includes a generator and a generator controller. The generator generates power, and the generator controller performs a control activity to supply one of the normal utility power and the generated power to the load. The selective supply of the normal utility power or the generated power can maximize efficiency of the generator and as a result, a power consumption level of the hybrid generation system can be decreased, thereby reducing related costs.

  • Publication number: 20060242977
Abstract: A cogeneration system according to the present invention includes a waste heat supply heat exchanger that supplies waste heat, which is recovered from an engine, to a suction unit side of a compressor. Accordingly, the present invention is advantageous in that it can maximize the use efficiency of the waste heat. Furthermore, a low compression inverter type compressor having a compression ratio of 1.5 to 2.5, which is lower than that of the related art, is used. Therefore, the present invention is advantageous in that it can maximize the efficiency of the system since the waste heat supplied from the waste heat supply heat exchanger can be utilized to a greater extent. The present invention is also advantageous in that it can prevent damage to the compressor and can save consumption power since a difference in pressure between the suction and discharge units of the compressor becomes small.

  • Publication number: 20060144064
Abstract: An airconditioning generation system capable of solving an unbalanced phase, and a method for solving the unbalanced phase are disclosed. The airconditioning generation system includes one or more indoor units (111, 112, 113, 121, 122, 131, 132, 133), one or more outdoor units (110, 120, 130), a generator (70) for providing the indoor and outdoor units with a power-supply signal, and a distribution unit (80, 80?) for detecting an individual-phase power value consumed by the indoor units, changing a phase of the power-supply signal transmitted from the generator (70) to the indoor or outdoor units, and establishing three-phase equilibrium. Therefore, if an unbalanced phase occurs in the three-phase power-supply signals applied to an airconditioner, the system solves the unbalanced phase, such that it prevents a product from being damaged and increases product reliability.

  • Publication number: 20060124273
Abstract: An exhaust gas heat exchanger for a cogeneration system is disclosed. In the exhaust gas heat exchanger, a heat exchanger cover is arranged around a heat exchanger body such that a primary heat medium passage, through which a heat medium passes, is defined between the heat exchanger cover and the heat exchanger body. In the heat exchanger body, a heat medium tube forming a secondary heat medium passage, through which the heat medium emerging from the primary heat medium passage passes, is arranged. Accordingly, the heat medium primarily absorbs heat from the exhaust gas while passing through the primary heat medium passage, and then secondarily absorbs heat from the exhaust gas while passing through the secondary heat medium passage. As a result, an enhancement in heat exchanging efficiency is achieved.
