    Abstract: A method and system for measuring the content of dissolved organic halide in water. The method includes separating dissolved inorganic halides and dissolved organic halides in water using an electrodialysis technique (S1), which may completely separate the dissolved organic halides and the dissolved inorganic halides, avoid the use of activated carbon and adsorption columns, simplify steps and improve efficiency. The method converts the separated dissolved organic halides into dissolved inorganic halides using a photocatalysis technique (S2), which does not need a special high-temperature combustion device, active carbon and catalysts, and is simple and easy to be performed at room temperature in more environmentally friendly mode.
