    Abstract: An air injection enthalpy-increasing scroll compressor is provided. The compressor has a main frame, a movable scroll plate and a stationary scroll plate. The movable scroll plate has a movable plate end plate and a movable scroll wrap arranged on a side end face of the movable plate end plate. A back pressure chamber is defined between the movable plate end plate and the main frame. The stationary scroll plate has a fixed scroll end plate and a stationary scroll wrap arranged on a side end face of the fixed scroll end plate. The stationary scroll wrap and the movable scroll wrap are engaged with each other to form crescent-shaped compression cavities. The movable scroll plate and the stationary scroll plate are provided with medium pressure passages that, during the rotation of the movable scroll plate, communicate the compression cavity with the back pressure chamber.

    Abstract: In a conventional compressor, since a motor and a mechanical section of the compressor are disposed in one and the same closed container, the motor is exposed to high-temperature coolant and heated, and the efficiency of the motor is lowered. Further, during the operation of the compressor, the coolant circulating in the refrigerating cycle conveys additional heat generated by the motor coil. Thus the efficiency of the refrigerating cycle is lowered. The compressor according to the present invention includes a compression chamber divided into a closed chamber and an open chamber separated by a magnetic induction plate from each other. The closed chamber is filled with high temperature and pressure coolant and the rotor of the motor is disposed in the closed chamber, and the stator of the motor is disposed in the open chamber.

Each of the disc-shaped rotors includes a metal frame that is provided so as to surround the plural permanent magnets arranged on the same circumference, and each of the metal frames is configured using a nonmagnetic and conductive material. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain a self-starting type axial gap synchronous motor that can be started by a commercial electric power without using an inverter, and a compressor and a refrigeration cycle apparatus using the same.

The rotor core comprises at least one magnet insertion hole arranged on an inner peripheral side from the slots, and at least one permanent magnet embedded in the at least one magnet insertion hole. When a pole center axis is denoted as a d-axis and an axis deviating from the pole center axis by an electrical angle 90° is denoted as a q-axis, a flux content generated by the cage winding during start-up becomes maximal in the vicinity of and on one of the d-axis and the q-axis.

The stator core includes a laminated stator core made of laminated stator core plates in which straight cut surfaces are formed on a circular outer peripheral surface of the laminated stator core plates. The straight cut surfaces of the laminated stator core plates are circumferentially displaced every predetermined laminated stator core plates so that the straight cut surfaces are uniformly distributed in an axial and a circumferential direction of the laminated stator core. Therefore, a flow passage for lubricating oil is ensured, while local magnetic saturation of the stator core is dissolved and a cogging torque and an induced voltage waveform distortion rate are improved.
