Abstract: A messaging system configured to facilitate cross-border transactions between parties. A Requester, or associated agent, can transmit a request message to a request message platform that provides information indicating the Requester, a Requestee, and the requested transaction. The request message platform can perform various screenings regarding the parties and the requested transaction, including screenings based on regulations of the jurisdictions in which the parties, or their agents, are located. The request message platform can also convert the request message, or the associated request, to a pertinent messaging protocol used for such transactions in the corresponding jurisdictions, and assist in providing status updates regarding the transaction to the parties.
