  • Patent number: 12615040
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a programmable reflective load line that includes main delay segments arranged in series between an input of the programmable reflective load line and ground, variable delay modules arranged in parallel between nodes adjoining the main delay segments and ground, and main switches, with each main switch arranged between one of the variable delay modules and one of the nodes adjoining the main delay segments. Each variable delay module includes sub-delay segments arranged in series between the associated main switch and ground. Each variable delay module also includes one or more sub-delay switches, with each sub-delay switch arranged between a node adjoining two of the associated sub-delay segments and ground. The integrated circuit may further include a hybrid coupler arranged with the programmable reflective load line and another programmable reflective load line as a reflective-type phase-shifter.

  • Publication number: 20250323615
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments of high-resolution, low-loss phase shifting circuits, devices, systems, and methods are disclosed. According to one aspect, a circuit may include a signal reflector that has a signal port configured to receive a signal in a signal frequency range and a resonant structure coupled between the signal port and ground. The resonant structure has one or more primary resonant frequencies and a cutoff frequency above the one or more primary resonant frequencies. The cutoff frequency is below the signal frequency range of the signal applied to the signal port.

  • Patent number: 9816487
Abstract: An integrated axis wind turbine system is provided. The system includes a support tower on which is mounted a turbine whose nacelle comprises of drive train consisting of a horizontally aligned main shaft and an associated a set of horizontal shafts at different elevations which transfer rotary motion from a set of blades and which culminates in electricity generation. When the set of blades rotate at an angular speed exceeding a predefined threshold, excess torque is transmitted by a right angle transmission, via a Continuously Variable Transmission, to a vertically aligned central shaft which is coupled to a second turbine's set of blades whose rotary motion also culminates in electricity generation. The angle of attack of wind on the secondary set of blades is adjusted by a blade positioning system. By the integrated operation of the two turbines, the operational capacity of the combined system is increased.
