Abstract: A beverage container includes a rotatable cover and an automatically extendable drinking straw. The container includes an open ended body closed by a removable cap. A cover is fit onto the cap and is rotatable to a drinking position where a first straw section extends in an inclined manner upwardly through a yoke on the cap and a slot on the cover. The cover also may be rotated to a non-drinking position where the first straw section is moved within the cover and is pinched off to prevent leakage. The slot on the cover is closed by a curved member projecting from the top surface of the cap. A second straw section extends downwardly from the cap into the beverage container body.

The container comprises an open ended body 1 closed by a removable cap 2, upper straw means 3 linearly movably fitted on the cap, a dome 4 rotatably fitted on the cap 2 for rotation movement relative to the cap 2, and link means (45, 32) for translating the rotational movement of the dome 4 into the linear movement of the upper straw means 3 on the cap 2, whereby the rotation of the dome 4 causes the upper straw means 3 to linearly move on the cap 2 between a first position wherein the tube section 31 of the upper straw means 3 extends through the lateral opening 28 of the cap 2 and the elongate slot 422 of the dome 4 and is in liquid communication with the nipple 284 of the cap 2, and a second position wherein the tube section 31 of the upper straw means 3 is withdrawn within the dome 4 and is not in liquid communication with the nipple 284 of the cap 2.

Abstract: A kettle includes a kettle body, a kettle cap screwed on the kettle body, a cover member covering the kettle cap, and a sucker inserted through a hole in the kettle cap. One end of the kettle cap includes a pivot support seat onto which a resilient member is connected. A pressing board is fit onto the cover member and is engaged with the resilient member. The other end of the pressing board is formed with an engaging hook section which fits into a depression formed in the kettle cap. The pressing board simultaneously presses and folds the sucker to close flow therethrough. A prying member is pivotally disposed in the kettle cap. The front edge of the prying member has a trigger section located under the engaging hook section, whereby by pressing the prying member, the trigger section is able to move and separate the hook section from an engaging recess to uplift the pressing board and cover member.
