Abstract: A backlight module, a display device, and a driving method for the display device are provided. The backlight module includes: a substrate including light-emitting areas. The light-emitting areas include first light-emitting areas located in the peripheral region and second light-emitting areas located in the central region. Each light-emitting area include light-emitting units. The light-emitting units in each of the first light-emitting areas include first light-emitting units corresponding one-to-one with the light-emitting units in the second light-emitting area. The centers of the first light-emitting units in the first light-emitting area are located at the vertices of a first polygon, while the centers of the light-emitting units in the second light-emitting area are located at the vertices of a second polygon. The first polygon and the second polygon are similar polygons. The plurality of light-emitting units of at least one first light-emitting area further include a second light-emitting units.
