  • Patent number: 7465155
Abstract: A turbomachine blade row is provided having a hub that includes a non-axisymmetric end wall modified by a transformation function. The blade row further includes a circumferential row of a plurality of airfoil members radially extending from the non-axisymmetric end wall of the hub and forming a plurality of sectoral passages therebetween. A radius of the non-axisymmetric end wall is determined by a transformation function including a plurality of geometric parameters defined by a user based on flow conditions. The plurality of geometric parameters provide for modification of the end wall in both an axial and a tangential direction to include a plurality of concave profiled regions and convex profiled regions.

  • Patent number: 6948691
Abstract: A mounting apparatus is provided for mounting a computer server in a server rack structure. The server rack defines a first and second mounting apertures. A slide is provided having a bracket mounted to one end thereof. The bracket includes a first wall abutting the rack, and a second wall transverse to the first wall. A portion of the bracket extends into the first mounting aperture. A latch is mounted on the second wall of the bracket. The latch is movable between a first position wherein the latch extends into the second mounting aperture, and a second position wherein the latch does not extend into the mounting aperture. The latch cooperates with the portion of the bracket extending into the first mounting aperture to limit vertical movement of the bracket with respect to the rack.

  • Patent number: 6749276
Abstract: A sequencing mechanism for a slide assembly having at least three segments, including an outer slide segment, one or more intermediate slide segments and an inner slide segment. The sequencing mechanism ensures that the inner and intermediate slide segments extend together, from a substantially retracted position, until the intermediate segment reaches substantially full extension. The sequencing mechanism includes a sequence latch pivotally attached to the intermediate slide segment and configured to operate in both an upright orientation and an inverted orientation of the slide assembly. The latch has a hook portion at one end and a transversely extending tab portion at the opposing end. The hook portion selectively engages an opening in the inner slide segment to lock the inner slide segment to the intermediate slide segment.
