Abstract: A map information display method, an electronic device, and a medium are disclosed in this application. The map information display method includes: obtaining a first map, where the first map includes map elements related to a current driving route of a vehicle in which the electronic device is located; and displaying a second map, where the second map includes a first part of map elements in the map elements. According to the map information display method, the electronic device can obtain the current driving route of the vehicle, screen out, from map elements displayed in a map application, map information related to the current driving route, present the map information to a user driving the vehicle, and hide map information irrelevant to the current driving route.
