  • Publication number: 20240267602
Abstract: An acquiring system including an image-acquiring device, sensitive to visible and infrared wavelengths, including a sensor; an objective configured to focus light input into the acquiring device onto the sensor, a dual-band bandpass filter being placed in front of the sensor; a processing module configured to separate, once output by the sensor, the infrared image (IIR) and the visible image (Ivis) and to define at least one signal to be servo-controlled and an associated infrared-signal control setpoint depending on which at least one artificial light source is driven; the at least one artificial light source illuminating the scene including an artificial infrared light source.

  • Patent number: 11087118
Abstract: A facial recognition method is disclosed that is executed by a system comprising an image capture device and a light source able to illuminate a face positioned in front of the device. A plurality of images of a face is acquired, the light source producing a different illumination of the face at each image acquisition, and values representing the face from the plurality of images are extracted. To this aim, a first image of a face is acquired. An SNR value, referred to as the estimated value, of the first image is estimated from a reference SNR value, from image acquisition parameters and from values representing distances between the face and said device. Finally, the estimated value is used in order to determine whether or not the recognition procedure should be executed.

  • Patent number: 11048915
Abstract: A method and an associated device for detecting fraud during automatic face recognition, the method comprising the following steps: acquiring a first image of the face by means of a first sensor having a first field angle, and a second image of the face by means of a second sensor having a second field angle that is narrower than the first field angle; analyzing the first image to verify that there is no frame around the face; and analyzing the second image to verify that there is no moiré effect.
