  • Patent number: 12473677
Abstract: A system and method, for guiding a sewing operation for a sewing machine, are provided herein. One of one or more stitch objects having stitch data associated therewith may be selected. Each of the one or more stitch objects are defined by a geometric pattern. The stitch data of the one of the one or more stitch objects is analyzed to identify one or more lines forming the geometric pattern. At least a portion of a sewing material is sewn, onto the workpiece with the needle, in a direction defined by a first of the one or more lines forming the geometric pattern. A primary light source projects a first of one or more guidelines onto the workpiece.
