Abstract: A wheel assembly having two cylindrical bodies, each with a diameter approximately the same as the interior diameter of a tire. On the front body, are found an outer edge on one side and bolt receiving means on the opposite site and alignment holes. On the back body is found an outer edge, bolt receiving means that run across the entire length of the back body, are located on the interior of the body and are placed equidistant around the body. Each bolt receiving means aligns with a complementary bolt receiving means on the front body. The back body also has alignment pegs that fit into the alignment holes of the front body for proper alignment of the front and hack bodies. Holes on the hub, located on the front body permit placement of the tire and wheel assembly onto an axle of an automobile or other wheeled device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing career development experiences within a company. One exemplary system includes a memory configured to store, in an offer database, development experience information for multiple career development experiences, and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to generate a development experience, in response to an experience creation request from a first employee of the company directed to a second employee of the company. The development experience includes at least one task outside a plurality of job duties of the second employee. The processor is also configured to post the development experience to the offer database, and notify the first employee of an experience acceptance reply from the second employee when the second employee indicates interest in participating in the posted development experience.

Abstract: A pocket leg that has a cylindrical body, a base, and a top that forms a pool ball pocket is provided. The pocket leg can be used to form a rectangular pool table with six pockets constructed with six pocket legs. To each pocket leg are attached two brackets. The brackets of the four pocket legs that define the corners of the pool table are perpendicular to each other and the brackets of the two pocket legs that are centrally located are parallel to each other. Six brace pieces fit into the brackets and form the base of a table. The table also includes a top, apron and bumper railing. Pocket legs can be used to form a rectangular pool table with eight or more pockets. The pocket legs can form square, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, or other polygonal shaped pool tables.

Abstract: A method for managing a plurality of scheduled online interviews between a user and a plurality of professionals is provided. The method includes initiating a first online interview between the user and a first professional at a first predefined time, and once a first predetermined period of time has elapsed from the first predefined time, terminating the first online interview. The method further includes determining if a second professional is available to conduct a second online interview with the user, and based on the determining that the second professional is not available to conduct the second online interview with the user, replacing the second professional with a third professional that is available to conduct the second online interview with the user at a second predefined time, and initiating the second online interview between the user and the third professional at the second predefined time.

Preferably the game surface is angled on two opposing sides of each cutout to aid in rotation of the rollers underneath the game surface. The game apparatus may be adopted to play checkers, chess, backgammon or similar games. The game apparatus may also be embedded into tables or walls.

Abstract: A combined wall calendar and picture frame collage kit which, when assembled, allows a user to insert his or her pictures or photos of choice into the graphic material holding units attached to the photo display page. The photo display page may be customized and/or designed for an individual or by the individual. The calendar page is substantially circular in shape. The photo display page is circular in shape with a ninety degree cut out running from the center of the page to the outer edge of the circle. The assembly and construction of the kit components are such that when the calendar page and the photo display page are attached, by means of a nylon binding post with screw, the calendar may be alligned so that three calendar months are displayed. When the calendar page is turned ninety degrees counterclockwise, the calendar will display the next three months of the calendar year.

Abstract: A method of using an inert fluorescent tracer in an industrial water system wherein the water of said industrial water system contains a certain amount of a corrosive material, is described and claimed, as is a method of using an inert fluorescent tracer to trace the corrosive material itself. Combinations of inert fluorescent tracers in corrosive materials are also described and claimed.

Abstract: A mobile-link system for a radio communication system including a first mobile-link assembly, a second mobile-link assembly, and a satellite feeder-link assembly located in a satellite; and an earth feeder-link assembly located in an earth station. The first mobile-link assembly receives mobile uplink signals including zone-one uplink signals transmitted from mobile stations located in a first zone of a coverage area and zone-two uplink signals transmitted from mobile stations located in a second zone of the coverage area, and outputs received zone-one uplink signals and received zone-two uplink signals. The second mobile-link assembly receives mobile uplink signals transmitted from mobile stations in the coverage area, and outputs received zone-two uplink signals and not zone-one uplink signals. The second mobile link assembly also transmits mobile downlink signals to at least the first and second zones of the coverage area.

Abstract: A coding system for error protecting both insignificant and significant symbols of a digital message to be transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver of a digital system. Error protection for both insignificant and significant symbols is provided by coding at the transmitter both significant and insignificant symbols of message blocks forming the digital message. The symbol rate of the coded signal to be transmitted is reduced and unequal error protection is provided to the significant symbols by puncturing a selected number of insignificant symbols of each codeword of the coded signal. At the receiver, a correction determination is made for each received codeword as to whether the erasures and errors of the received codeword are correctable. The correction determination is a function of the number of errors, number of erasures, and the minimum distance of the code. Based on this correction determination, the received codeword is depunctured and decoded.

Abstract: A digital communication system having a punctured convolutional coding system and method. The digital communication system includes a coder for coding a digital input to be transmitted from a transmitter and a decoder for decoding the coded input received at the receiver. The coder includes a convolutional coding circuit of rate k/n for outputting a convolutional coded output and a puncturing circuit for puncturing the convolutionally coded output to achieve a punctured code rate of z/q, where z=.gamma.k. The puncturing circuit punctures the convolutional coded output according to a deleting pattern chosen to have a bit length of L=p.gamma.n, where p.gtoreq.2. The puncturing circuit outputs a punctured output at punctured code rate of z/q and the punctured output is transmitted to the receiver. The receiver decodes the transmitted punctured output and outputs a decoded output.

Abstract: A system for drying a large object, such as the human body, in an effective and sanitary manner. The system comprises a blower secured in a housing constructed with a plenum assembly having a decreasing volumetric configuration for diffusing and projecting a sheet of air in a select direction at a relatively uniform velocity. The air is filtered before passing through the blower and is heated for the comfort of the user. In this manner a person can utilize the sanitary benefit of warm air drying instead of towels and the like.
