    Abstract: A fire shield assembly includes a housing that may be mounted to a vertical support surface. A shield is movably coupled to the housing and the shield may be manipulated. The shield is selectively deployed from the housing. Thus, the shield may extend between a stove and the vertical support surface. The shield is comprised of a heat resistant material. Thus, the shield may inhibit the stove from heating the vertical support surface thereby reducing a fire hazard with respect to the stove.
