  • Publication number: 20050096923
Abstract: The system of the present invention facilitates the recycling of paper materials. Essentially, the invention consists of a pre-paid postage mailing label, addressed to a recycling or de-inking facility, which is removeably attached or covered on a paper based communication. After the paper based communication has been used for its intended purpose, the consumer or recipient of that communication will affix or uncover the pre-paid postage mailing label, and will deposit the communication in a suitable mail depository. From the depository, it will be delivered to the recycling or de-inking facility.

  • Publication number: 20010040384
Abstract: Several variations of a new and improved sun visor for use within a motor vehicle are disclosed, with the visors coming in different sizes to fit all types of vehicles, such as automobiles, vans, trucks, boats, trains, and planes. The variations would comprise three different types of visors. The first variation of visor would replace the standard sun visor that is located at the top of a standard windshield immediately above an operator's line of sight while operating a particular vehicle. The second variation of visor would serve as a “clamp on” visor which would be removably attached to a standard car visor that would be present in a vehicle. The third type of visor would be used to cover a side window of a particular vehicle. The third variation of visor would use either clamps to serve as a “clamp on” visor or alternatively would have a pair of suction cups to removably attach the third type of visor to a particular side window.

  • Patent number: 6243909
Abstract: A dust mop features a dust collector layer made of electrostatically charged nonwoven fabric. The electrostatic charge (a) enables the dust collector to be detachably mounted to the mop head by electrostatic cling; and (b) improves the dust collecting ability of the dust collector.

  • Patent number: 6159325
Abstract: Electrostatically charged nonwoven webs (fabrics) are used in displays, quilting, toys, and pattern making. The electrostatic charge causes the nonwoven webs to cling to cloth or paper without the need of pins or connectors. In pattern making the charged nonwoven web is detachably secured to a mastern pattern permitting the web to be marked and cut to form a specific sized pattern which is used to cut cloth in a selected size.

  • Patent number: 6106760
Abstract: A thermoplastic fabric for use as a support fabric in interfacing, underlining, and applique carries a persistent electrostatic charge that causes the fabrics in contact therewith to cling thereto in a nonslip relationship. This facilitates sewing of the layers together. The preferred support fabric is a nonwoven fabric such as meltblown and spunbonded fabrics.

  • Patent number: 5665448
Abstract: A device for detachably adhering a manipulative to a substrate using electrostatic charges is described. The invention comprises a thermoplastic substrate having imparted thereto a substantially persistent electrostatic charge with paper and/or fabric manipulatives removably adhered thereto by electrostatic attraction. The present invention may be useful for creating visual displays such as display boards, design boards for quilting patterns, sewing patterns, and toys such as dolls and educational games or aides using manipulatives in visual displays. The substrate is preferably made of polyolefin nonwoven webs, particularly polypropylene or polyethylene meltblown webs.
