Abstract: An aromatase inhibitor, alone or in combination with Growth Hormone, is used in the treatment of growth failure/short stature and in order to improve final height. It is believed that the present treatments delay bone maturation, especially in the treatment of pre-peri and pubertal humans with open epiphyses. The treatment is especially suitable for boys, with or without growth hormone deficiency (GHD).
