  • Publication number: 20220143783
Abstract: A process for etching glass includes: loading a piece of glass on a flatbed digital printer; applying a selected pre-coat solution to the glass to prevent the ink from permanently adhering to the glass; printing a mask having a selected pattern on the glass with the digital printer; sandblasting the masked glass; stripping away the mask from the glass to reveal the etched glass; and cleaning any residual mask and/or pre-coat solution from the glass.

  • Patent number: 7635798
Abstract: This invention encompasses the identification and isolation genes and gene fragments that confer altered metabolic characteristics in Nicotiana benthamiana plants, when expressed using GENEWARE™ viral vectors. These genes are derived from a variety of sources. Expression of these genes resulted in alterations of the levels of at least one of the following metabolites: acids, fatty acids, amino acids and related compounds, branched fatty acids, carbohydrates, hydrocarbons, alkaloids and other bases, esters, glycerides, phenols and related compounds, alcohols, alkenes and alkynes, sterols, oxygenated terpenes, and other isoprenoids, and ketones and quinones.

  • Patent number: 7291767
Abstract: This invention relates to putative known and unknown deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and amino acid sequences identified in one or more metabolic pathways that lead to dwarfism and stunting in plants and the use of these sequences in agriculture to create dwarf varieties of any plant species. This invention also relates to nucleic acids sequences and polypeptides that produce altered metabolism phenotypes in plants.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20020103760
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring remote computer access and associated costs is provided. The system includes a remotely located communication server in communication with multiple host computer networks and in communication with a network access server. First and second memory devices contain a list of authorized users for the host computer networks and a user log for use by a billing computer to generate bills. The method includes the steps of creating starting and ending time stamps for each authorized user accessing a respective one of the multiple host computer networks and creating a user log to generate bills and monitor host computer network usage.

  • Patent number: 5674934
Abstract: A composition comprising an aqueous-based solvent and a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer that is characterized by having a backbone with at least one pendant weak acid group and at least one pendant strong cationic group associated with a bicarbonate counterion is described. A water-resistant, fast dry-to-the-touch coating that does not release noxious gases can be prepared by applying the composition to a substrate. The coating can be designed to be either permanent, or removable by the addition of mild acids such as aqueous solutions of vinegar or citric acid.
