The polymer blend is made from about 95 to about 50 parts by weight of one or more sodium ionomer resins, one of which has a lower flexural modulus than the other sodium ionomer. About 20 to about 50 parts by weight of a lithium ionomer resin is included in the blend. The ball that employs the cover has excellent spin characteristics.
