    Abstract: Disclosed is an ink composition which comprises water, a colorant, and a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein A.sup.1, A.sup.2, A.sup.3, B.sup.1, B.sup.2, and B.sup.3 each, independently of each other, are linear alkenyl groups, A.sup.1, A.sup.2, A.sup.3, B.sup.1, B.sup.2, and B.sup.3 each, independently of each other, are either unsubstituted or substituted with alkyl groups, m, n, and p each, independently of each other, are integers of from 0 to about 10, and R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 each, independently of each other, are hydrogen, alkyl groups, cycloalkyl groups, phenyl groups, or alkylphenyl groups.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a process for preparing an ink composition which comprises treating a dye with a zeolite, followed by admixing the treated dye with an aqueous liquid vehicle to form an ink composition. Alternatively, the process can comprise admixing a dye and an aqueous liquid vehicle to form an ink composition, followed by treating the ink composition with a zeolite. Also disclosed is an ink container comprising (a) an exit opening; (b) an ink storage area; and (c) a zeolite filter situated between the exit opening and the ink storage area. Further disclosed is an ink container comprising (a) an exit opening; (b) an ink storage area; and (c) a zeolite situated within the ink storage area and situated so that it is in contact with ink contained within the ink storage area.
