The system includes a fish processing apparatus configured to process the fish, and at least one image recording apparatus configured to record images of the fish during processing. The images include information regarding whether or not the fish have scales. The system also includes at least one image display apparatus that is configured to view the at least one image of the at least one fish and enable an authorized inspecting party to compare the at least one image of the at least one fish with the at least one fish.
