Abstract: An optical fiber-based network infrastructure in a building comprises an infrastructure of fiber optic cables throughout a building, utility boxes, junction boxes, junction processors and a single master processing hub, which interfaces between the outside world and a variety of user surfaces, controls, fixtures and modular products (devices) to be installed presently then expanded or added at anytime in the future.
