  • Publication number: 20070222747
Abstract: The computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for capturing markup layers on a whiteboard in relation to a projected image. A presentation page is displayed on a whiteboard as the projected image. A set of markups on the whiteboard associated with the presentation page is identified. The set of markups on the whiteboard is isolated from the projected image of the presentation page to create a user input layer. The user input layer is saved as an overlay for the presentation page.

  • Patent number: 7194323
Abstract: A method and system for product fulfillment in an automated manufacturing system is disclosed. The method and system of the present invention includes obtaining requirements for a product from a customer. The method and system further includes creating a plan from the requirements using a descriptive language. The plan is then conveyed to an automated manufacturing system for use in manufacturing the product.

  • Patent number: 7103762
Abstract: A method and system for caching and moving the required real-time, processing unit specific data (including boot image selection) among isolated servers in a pre-boot environment is disclosed. A system and method in accordance with the present invention provides a network/server topology that includes a common control server, and a plurality of isolated process servers. A system and method in accordance with the present invention provides the capability of being able to reference the real-time processing unit specific data based on either the unique processing unit identifier (MTSN directory name) or based on the MAC address (in conjunction with the content of a MAC binding file).

Date of Patent: September 5, 2006
    Assignee: International Business Machines Corporation
Inventors: John Gary Harper, Barry Alan Kritt, Pamela Annette Morse, Linda Reed Newton, Paul Allen Roberts
  • Patent number: 7013231
Abstract: A test methodology for use in a manufacturing process includes generating a test management matrix having a plurality of selectable test sites. Each test site indicates the optimum level of tests to be exercised on devices used to manufacture a product, such as a personal computer. Each test site is accessed through the intersection of inputs relating to aggregate test levels and quality of components used in the device. The tests identified at a selected test site are exercised to test the device.

  • Publication number: 20040153637
Abstract: A method and system for caching and moving the required real-time, processing unit specific data (including boot image selection) among isolated servers in a pre-boot environment is disclosed. A system and method in accordance with the present invention provides a network/server topology that includes a common control server, and a plurality of isolated process servers. A plurality of processing units (computers) are coupled to each of the plurality of isolated process servers. A system and method in accordance with the present invention allows each of the processing units below an isolated process server to be set up with identical IP addresses (reducing administration costs) and also eliminates manufacturing wide network problems (caused by failing network cards) by isolating the segments rather than routing the segments. As a result, this invention provides a more fault tolerant network and a lower total cost solution.
