    Abstract: A rack suitable for housing connections of cables in a telecommunications or data communications network includes a plurality of cable guides (2) and a plurality of cable guide mountings (3) at each of which the cable guides are capable of being mounted. The cable guides (2) are detachably mountable and are able to be detached and attached without the use of tools. A cable retaining portion (14) is provided at the free end of a cable guide.
