Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes accessing, in response to a first user input and via a storage system, digital animal records that include animal data (including inventory and health data) for animals; and generating, according to the inventory data, an inventory user interface (UI) that includes identifying information of a first portion of the animals. The method includes accessing, in response to a second user input and via the storage system, the health data and generating, according to the health data, a health records UI for managing the health records and that includes medical records of a second portion of the animals. The method includes receiving, via the inventory UI, inventory update data and, in response, transmitting an inventory update to the storage system. The method includes receiving, via the health records UI, health records update data and, in response, transmitting a health records update to the storage system.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores a program for execution by one or more processors that includes instructions for receiving a label-generating request for generating a machine-readable image file for an animal-based meat product that corresponds to a particular source animal. The program further includes instructions for accessing, in response to receiving the label-generating request, digital animal records for source animals to identify a digital animal record for the particular source animal. The digital animal records include animal information that includes identification information, location information, and health information for the source animals.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes accessing, in response to a first user input and via an equine records storage system, digital equine records for equines that include equine data for the equines. The equine data includes equine inventory data, certification data, and health data. The method includes generating, according to the equine inventory data and health data, an equine inventory user interface that includes identifying information of a first equine and health information for the first equine. The method includes accessing, in response to a second user input and via the storage system, the equine certification data, and generating, according to the equine certification data, an equine certifications user interface that includes certifications of the first equine. The method includes receiving, via the equine inventory user interface, equine inventory update data, and, in response, transmitting an equine inventory update to the storage system for updating the equine inventory data.

Abstract: A system which implements a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a means for monitoring a patient's medication compliance. In one embodiment, the system will send a message to a patient's wireless device with a notification when it is time for the patient to administer a prescribed treatment. The system may also request that the patient or a caregiver reply with a confirmation that the treatment was completed. In one embodiment, the system may include sensors that detect whether a prescribed treatment was completed. The system may also record information such as the time, date, and substance of the transmissions of the reminder messages and/or the receipts of the confirmation messages or sensor readings. In one embodiment, the system may also send alert messages if the system is unable to verify whether a patient has completed her prescribed treatment at a designated time.
